Meet DJ, a class of 2013 high school senior from Boulder City. DJ was actually my first male senior session that I photographed and it went great. DJ is a natural in front of the camera with such a great smile. We started the session in Boulder City at a local antique shop. They let us use a cool vintage chair as well as the alley in the back of their store. Then we went out front for a little big of fun with his long board.
After we finished up in Boulder City we headed out to the dry lake bed for the last half of the session. DJ has been playing sports since he was 6 years old and was playing 4 different ones while in school. He decided that he is done with sports and moving on to study Psychology. So he brought a shovel and his jerseys to the dry lake bed as a way to say goodbye by pretending to bury them in the dirt.
